Freebird Product Limited Warranty
Overview
At Freebird, we stand behind the quality of our products. We offer a Limited Warranty to original purchasers covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, during the applicable warranty periods outlined below.
All warranty periods begin on the original date of purchase.
This Limited Warranty is subject to the terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions stated on this page.
Warranty Coverage
Freebird warrants that its products will be free from defects in workmanship and materials during the applicable Warranty Period, provided the following conditions are met:
- The product was purchased from myfreebird.com or an authorized Freebird retailer.
- You can provide valid proof of purchase (e.g., order confirmation, receipt).
- The product has been used only as intended and in accordance with all provided instructions.
- The claim is submitted following the warranty claim process described below.
If a defect arises during the Warranty Period, Freebird will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the defective product or component with a new or refurbished item.
Warranty Periods
Standard Warranty – 3 Years
All customers who purchase a FlexSeries® Grooming Kit (including FlexSeries® and FlexSeries® Pro) are automatically covered by a 3-Year Limited Warranty beginning on the original date of purchase.
Lifetime Warranty – Active Blade Subscribers
Customers enrolled in Freebird’s Active Blade Subscription receive a Lifetime Warranty on their FlexSeries® device while their subscription remains active.
Eligibility Requirements:
- You must receive at least one blade shipment within 90 days of submitting a warranty claim.
- Eligible for up to two warranty claims per 12-month period.
- If the blade subscription is canceled, the warranty reverts to the 3-Year Standard Warranty, beginning from the original date of purchase.
Limited Warranty – Blade Refills (2 Months)
Freebird offers a 2-Month Limited Warranty on all FlexSeries® Blade Refills and FlexSeries® Pro Blade Refills, starting from the original date of delivery.
This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. It does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear from routine use
- Damage from misuse, improper cleaning, or maintenance
- Wear resulting from failure to replace blades as recommended
What’s Not Covered
This Limited Warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Cosmetic damage (e.g., scratches, dents, discoloration)
- Accidental damage, misuse, or abuse
- Unauthorized modifications, repairs, or replacements
- Use with non-Freebird components or accessories
- Purchases from unauthorized sellers or resellers (including marketplaces)
- Limited edition or discontinued items (unless equivalent replacements are available)
Freebird reserves the right to replace discontinued items with similar or equivalent models if a direct replacement is not available.
How to File a Warranty Claim
To initiate a warranty claim:
- Contact Freebird Customer Support at hello@myfreebird.com
- Include the following:
- Your order number
- Proof of purchase
- A brief description of the issue
- If your claim is approved, you may be asked to return the product for inspection.
- Freebird will provide a prepaid return label for eligible returns.
- We’ll notify you of the outcome within 5–7 business days after receiving the returned item.
Legal Disclaimer & Consumer Rights
This Limited Warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty provided by Freebird with respect to its products, and supersedes any prior or other representations, whether oral or written.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, including the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania:
- IMPLIED WARRANTIES, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the applicable express warranty periods.
- Freebird shall not be liable for any incidental, special, indirect, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of use or functionality
- Loss of data
- Loss of time, revenue, or profits
- Inconvenience, personal injury, or property damage
Some states, including Pennsylvania, may not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages. These limitations may not apply to every customer.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary by state. Freebird’s liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product.
No Freebird employee, representative, retailer, or agent is authorized to alter, extend, or modify this warranty or to make any additional warranties or representations on behalf of Freebird.
Additional Terms
- This warranty is valid only for customers residing in the United States.
- Warranty coverage applies only to original purchasers who purchased from myfreebird.com or an authorized Freebird retailer.
- Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
